On Sunday 2nd April, eight members of MMI Engineering’s UK operations, including Managing Director John Evans, will be participating in the Asics Greater Manchester Marathon.
Having previously enjoyed the fantastic support of the volunteers, bands/choirs and communities lining the streets of Greater Manchester, this will be the third year in a row that MMI has entered teams in the Workplace Challenge.
Whilst the focus of the day is meant to be participation, a sense of healthy rivalry has developed between our two four-person relay teams! Based on past performance, the team comprising Andy Nelson, Lyndsay Duffill, John Evans and Paul Gardner should pip the second team, however, a combination of injuries and missed training sessions means that the team of Euan Stoddart, Sean Malkeson, Rob English and Joe Hobbs might just claim a surprise victory!
Whatever the result, it promises to be a day filled with agony, enjoyment and team building. If you live local, why not join the crowds and show your support? Click here for more information: http://www.greatermanchestermarathon.com/
