The Hydrocarbon Passive Fire Protection Network (PFPNet) is a not-for-profit industry-funded body focused on serving the needs of the users of hydrocarbon fireproofing materials and systems. This is achieved through a focus on education, training, capturing and retaining existing knowledge, researching key topics, clarifying points of confusion, and disseminating this to the membership and to the industry at large – all with the aim of improving the quality of PFP applications and installations. PFPNet is focused on the needs of the users of PFP.
PFPNet announced this week that in light of the current climate, the group will launch in September via a one-day technical meeting (you can see the official statement here). This meeting will be free to attend and is open to interested parties who would like to play a part in defining the aims and objectives for PFPNet. The meeting will be structured around a series of facilitated workshops that will assist in planning the future technical agenda.
